Hello,
When I analyze my Hands in SNG Wizard 2 I would like to display the HUD stats (from Holdem Manager 2) in the Snapshot area in the Current Hand view.
So, it would be easier and more accurate to estimate a reliable opponent range (in that situation) with the true stats (VPIP, PFR, 3B) of that player; there, on the Snapshot, like I saw them when I was playing that hand at the table.Actualy I have to open the Replayer in the Tournaments view, see the stats on the HUD, close the Replayer, open the Current Hand view and modify the various ranges. This with every hand I want to analyze seriously, to give the most correct range to my opponents (The same I have assigned them in game).
When I must analyze many hands it began a bit fastidious.– There is an easier way to display my oppo stats, directly in the Snapshot view of my played hands?
and also:
– There is a way to set the default ranges of my opponents the same of their stats?
Thanks ahead.

I am not aware of any stat that can be used to reliably estimate opponent hand ranges. If you have any ideas on how to convert stats into hand ranges, I would be happy to discuss them with you.
September 16, 2014 at 8:13 am #1287I’ll make just a few assumptions.
I consider the avaliable stats in HM2 HUD: VPIP, PFR, Fold/call to Steal, ReSteal (all stats avaliable from any position), 3B ecc.– the “Steal from Button” (but also the “steal from SB” and CO) stat could provide a quite correct Oppo’s Push range.
– The “Call to steal”, “Fold to steal” and “Resteal” (especially from BB, but also from SB) stats could provide a realistic Oppo’s call range on my push.
Obviously it could be reliable only with a considerable statistical sample, so it could be done only with those Oppos that I play often with; for example it could be 2-3 colors for the ranges depending on how many hands can be considered or could be done only with a specific (maybe selectable) number of hands played.
However, I’m neither a pro nor a programmer; these are just ideas that I have (and could be a starting point as an absurdity) and I propose them absolutely without any presumption. I don’t know if it can actually be done. However, if there was a way, I think that also other SNG players might appreciate it.
September 17, 2014 at 1:43 pm #1288Steal and resteal stats are only applicable when stacks are deep relative to the blinds. Push/fold decisions typically occur later in a tournament when stacks are short relative to the blinds. I doubt there is much correlation between the two.
