is there a way to adjust the settings so it does not review every hand in quiz mode after each hand? I just want to go over a bunch of questions and go back at the end of the ones I missed.
so would I be correct in saying that when the wizard suggests folding that it literally means folding in all situations, but when it suggests pushing that could really mean calling or raising in some situations?
What about calling? It seems in some situations calling might be better than folding or pushing, but it doesn’t give that option. I am talking about quiz mode. If a short stack raises pre flop and I got 88, but I got a big stack behind me yet to act. I should call here to try and eliminate this shorty, but wizard only gives me the option to shove or fold. I would just shove, but with the big stack yet to act, I can’t. The optimal move might be to call, but the wizard counts it wrong if I don’t select fold in quiz mode when in a real game I should not fold- I should call. I don’t understand why you can’t incorporate the raise or call option in every hand or at least don’t give scenarios in quiz mode where raise/call would be the best option. Give no information instead of wrong information. I don’t see how suggesting a raise or call pre flop analyzes post flop.
nevermind, I might be looking at the wrong game.
it even has my position wrong. I am suppose to be the dealer, but wizard shows me as the small blind.
how come it has some actions recorded wrong. I am using bovada and am looking at the hand history within bovada and it shows my opponent shoving pre flop, but when I import the hand history to wizard, it shows him folding.
u mean the the one with the $ sign?
and we can tell if a “push” is really meant as a raise because it doesn’t qualify for analysis (i.e. there is no icon in the first column)??
so what does the wizard say in the suggest line when raising is best? does it say “check” and how are we to know that it really means a raise might be better but we can’t say, why not just put a question mark or something?
*best move*
why does the wizard never suggest raising? Isn’t that the bet move in some cases?
I figured out how to make these changes, but why don’t the numbers change when I change the tournament type, shouldn’t the edge and push range %s change based on the type of tourney?
* green check marks
I do the following and it does not change:
1. open a tournament folder
2. check mark the tournament I want
3. click import
4. tools-“user defined tournament structure”
5. click “add structure”
6. make the changes to the payouts and blinds
7. click ok
8. click on an ID number
the tournament type has not changed
how do i get it to change?
it does not show post flop action or what the player’s cards were
