Make sure you are running the latest release.
Then send me a hand history and the exact steps you are taking so that I can reproduce the problem.
If you are having trouble getting Bovada to save hand histories you will need to contact Bovada support.
This video show how to import hand histories.
As I stated before, trying to analyze a hand where players are not all-in before the flop is pretty much impossible. The software would have to simulate flop, turn, and river actions. It would have to make assumptions on how each player would play after the flop. The complexity is prohibitive.
Yes.
April 24, 2013 at 8:15 am in reply to: easily see hands where push/fold difference is above a certain threshold #637That is a good idea. It is not possible now, but I will investigate adding it to SW2.
Yes, if the hand does not qualify you should probably raise instead of push.
The Wizard compares pushing (or calling a push) to folding. So it will tell you whether pushing is better than folding no matter what your stack size is.
Even if you are deep stacked where raising may be better than pushing, it doesn’t hurt to know that pushing is better than folding.
Yes, in deep stack situations, raising is usually better than pushing.
Analyzing a raise would require predicting post-flop actions (flop, turn, river), which is pretty much impossible. Therefore, the Wizard can only analyze pre-flop all-in scenarios.
Make sure you are running the latest release.Make sure your computer’s system clock is set to the correct date.Make sure your fire wall or virus software is not blocking the Wizard’s access to the internet.Select “My License” on the SitNGo Wizard tab, enter your activation code and click the “Validate License” button. If you still have a problem send me your license ID, which you can find “My License” dialog. If I have not replied to these links, please see these links and send me another email.
Activating the SitNGo Wizard (SW1)
From the SitNGo Wizard help (see Help->Contents->Tutorial->Tournament View):
“Notice that the first column is an icon indicating the status of the game. A green check mark indicates the hand was played correctly. A red circle with a white “X” indicates that the hand may have been played incorrectly. A yellow triangle indicates that it was a close decision. No icon indicates that the hand does not qualify for analysis.
To qualify for analysis, a game must meet at least one of two conditions.
- Either your stack must be less than 10 times the size of the big blind, or
- All opponents who are have not folded must have a stack less than 10 times the big blind.”
Make sure you are using ICM equity mode and not chip equity mode.
The Wizard only analyzes preflop push/fold decisions. Post flop actions are irrelevant.
Opponent cards are not included in the hand history unless there was a showdown. The Wizard does not show them because the they do not affect the analysis.
